I just love this hair clip. I have really thick hair and it works really well. even though it is metal it is still comfortable. I've gotten so many compliments on it. super cool
Obviously I purchased this because of the whimsical design. I have had other similar clips that really didn't work solo, and required you to secure your hair with something else prior to placing the device. This one is stout with a very firm grip on things. I have long heavy hair, and it can hold 6 - 8 hrs before it begins to slip, which is a great accomplishment. Be careful of those teeth however, this can be a bit sharp. The metal is coated with a gloss finish, which thus far has been quite resilient to repeated use. Would highly recommend.
